Sue Kysow

Sue is responsible for managing all of Special Olympics New Zealand’s major events in New Zealand and overseas.

Sue trained in England as a teacher of outdoor pursuits and spent 12 years working in outdoor centres before sailing to New Zealand on a yacht in the early 1990s. She quickly became involved in Special Olympics New Zealand in Nelson as a volunteer and joined the staff team in 2004.

Sue enjoys skiing, swimming and walking with her daughter Lucy and spends most of her time thinking about going on a diet and driving Lucy to a wide range of sports fixtures around town.
