STAFF CHANGES

We would like to welcome Kay Harrision to fill the position of Upper North Island Regional Sports Coordinator vacated by Hayley Mitchell. Kay already has a strong link with Special Olympics as the coordinator for equestrian in the Auckland region for the last 2 years and has also been actively involved with Riding for the Disabled.  After tremendous service to Special Olympics, we sadly say farewell to Hayley and wish her all the best for the future in her move to Wellington.

Congratulations to Dr Olive J Webb, medical expert on the Special Olympics New Zealand Board of Trustees, for receiving the "Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit " in the Queen's Birthday Honours list for services to the intellectually disabled. Full list here
